Toledo Port Clinton and Lakeside #21

Cincinnati & Lake Erie #119

Here are the sounds of two interurbans recorded at the Ohio Railway Museum in the 1960's.  The first is a wooden interurban #21 from the early days of traction, built in 1903 by the Niles Car Co. for the TPC&L.  The second is the 1930 C&LE #119 built by the Cincinnati Car Co.  Both were built with leading edge technology for their day.    Recording from the Ryan Hoover Collection
