Remarks: Cars 435-437 were OOS 7/30-1920. Car 438 was converted to
line car 060 in 1922. Cars 439-454 were converted to closed cars in
1917. Car 455 was converted to a closed car in 1915.
Car #454 after it was rebuilt as a convertible car in
1917 when the State Legislator eliminated open cars by requiring a
center aisle. As a convertible car 454 could be used all year
around either in this configuration for summer or with windows and sides
added for winter. What it couldn't do was seat 60 as it did when
it was an open car. Photo from the Dave Bunge collection.

Car #442 in its winter attire. This probably was
how the car was used summer and winter toward its end of life.
