       This excerpt from a pocket note book is a fisherman’s guide to the proper rail line to take for a day’s fishing trip.  Most of the lines are interurbans.  It is estimated to have been published around 1912.
       It would have been best to take an interurban as they ran more frequently then the steam railroads.  I suspect you could just ask the motorman where the best spot was and he would let you off by the side of the creek.  To get home you just wave the car down.  Those were the days!
