Steelton was a Toledo & Ohio Central (NYC) staffed cabin located between the Frankfort Street and Bannon towers.

Steelton cabin controlled the convergence of double track coming from the west into a single track to the east. Sometime in the 1950s the double track would be extended through the N&W crossing at Bannon and Steelton cabin would be abandoned.
